Yay for pie!

It has been another week of working diligently on my series of prints for Advent.  Having not worked with linoleum in quite some time, I've had to do a bit of relearning.   The first block was begun again after proofing.  Same with the second.  Now on the third image, I feel like I'm finally getting the 'hang' of linoleum once again. I'll share images later.
Now, I'll take a bit of break to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends and hopefully, lots of pie.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

  1. I celebrated Thanksgiving once, when I was an au-pair in Philadelphia almost twenty years ago. I remember the taste of pumpkin pie.

I´m looking forward to seeing your prints. I have tried linoleum printing when I went to art school, but that was a long time ago. I have been thinking about trying it again, but there is so much to do, and so little time... maybe next year!

  2. Hi Elin! Yes, i too often have more ideas than time to pursue them. I guess the good thing is that the ideas keep coming!

  3. I made my first pie (apple) in maybe 25 years. It looked a little like the pie in your print. Nice print!
